Air-circulation can become very restricted if these filters get clogged with dust etc. This means that the air you spend so much to heat does not get to where you want it and thus is wasted. So if you use the disposable type replace the filters frequently or if you use the washable type, clean them regularly.

Service Furnace An annual service and cleaning of the furnace is important to keep it running efficiently. This means the fuel is burnt more completely, giving you more heat and less pollution. Your furnace will ultimately last longer.
